Apple released iOS 27.2 on October 26, 2026. It is the first major update to iOS 27 and it brings together the iPhone Duo and other iPhone models on the same version.
Siri AI Gets Smarter
Siri AI can now use more of your personal context, including photos in Messages, Calendar attendees, and voicemails. It also works in more languages.
Suggestions in Messages
Messages now offers Suggestions that help you act on a conversation quickly, such as adding a Calendar invite for a dinner plan or saving a Reminder.
Shared Albums and More
Shared Albums let you edit captions and comments, avoid duplicate photos, and see a reminder before an album expires. Apple TV adds the option to watch several live sports streams at once, and there are smaller changes in Podcasts and Games.
Safety and Trust
SynthID watermarking in Photos and Image Playground helps identify AI-generated or edited images.
If you have not updated yet, iOS 27.2 is a worthwhile download.
